Finished the century, 70.51 miles (about 112 km) in 3.5 hrs, 19.89 MPH average, what a great ride :) :).

Wow, that's MOVING! Congrats, at a pace like that, I bet you could easily go farther.

If I would have slowed th pace to a 16/17 mph ave, I probably could have done the 111 miles, but the other guy that I was riding with had a hernia operation recently and a couple of broken ribs, and I didn't know if my knee would be able to handle the entire distance. So we decided on the metric century. But It felt great, and I'm still feeling pretty good, I'm sure I will be tired tonight.

Great job! What kind of bike did you ride for the metric?

I was on my Lemond Versillies, Carbon steel frame, I love the bike and the fit. I had to upgrade the wheels on it to stronger rims than the bontrager selects that came on it standard, but other than that I have had no problem with the bike at all, and I've put over a 1000 miles on it since march.

WOW GREAT! Congrats! Your average speed was awsome, it just proves you are ready for longer. What type of terrain did you do it in???

Mostly rollers, next century (Sept 22) has a nasty 1000 ft climb then a couple of shorter climbs that aren't as steep. This is all to get ready for the Moab Century, that has a nice 3000 ft of climbing over about 7 miles.
