I have a Schwinn XS Pro stock, gold trim, chrome frame, i believe i bought it 96 or 97. anyways, i use to ride it back when and now at 22 im back into it. problem is both rims are bent beyond repair. Im use to this bike, its solid, but should i replace parts or buy a new $300 bike? Were older schwinns worthy? especially considering schwinn is history. i have pictures, diff comp, its a good looking bike. ill try to post later. thankss.

i dunno man. some of the newer shwinns are front heavy. my dads gotta older shwinn, and you can pick it up with almost no difficulty. (and yes its a bmx bike for anyone out there). if u can repair the oldone, id say to repair it first.
What are you planning on using it for? Which Pro Stock is it? The Pro Stock series was a line of race bikes, typically aluminum. This would make it not a good choice for street/park riding.

its a pro stock 1. i use it to just ride around town, few curb jumps and foot jams, nothing extreme. its pretty light, i can pick it up one handed put it over my head. rust spots on it, mainly on the rims, but that doesnt matter since they would be replaced. I have damn pictures, just im always on a diff comp.
thanks
