The girlfriend would like some risers on her Bianchi, so she will get risers. I am having trouble finding any that are 26 clamp size, and I would rather not have to buy a mtb 25.6 clamp size stem if possible. In addition most of the levers I can find online say they are for V-Brakes, will they still have the correct leverage for her road brakes?

you can shim a 25.6 bar to fit a 26.0 stem. Brake reach/leverage isn't my forte so I'll leave that alone.

Just go to the bike shop and buy some wald risers. I can't imagine them, being more than $15. And some whatever bmx lever to put on them.

Just go to the bike shop and buy some wald risers. I can't imagine them, being more than $15. They still have a 25.4 clamp area, that doesn't really help. Just take the stem to a bike shop and trade it for one with a 25.4 clamp, most shops have a ton of those.
And some whatever bmx lever to put on them.Yes. If you keep your eyes open for junked X-mart bikes, you can get both the bars and lever for free.

Use a shim.
Or a cut-up beer can.
Or a piece of old tube.

Don't waste your money.

Yeah I've been using a cut up soda can and it's worked fine for me, no slippage in a couple months, that way you don't have to switch stems if you want to go back to drops.
