Foo - Favorite words you casually say that may be on SAT/ACT..

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Let's hear them.
When Pete F. was debating another member, he used the word erroneous. Having never heard the word before, I checked it out. I quickly thought it was a very nice word to know in my vocab. I took an SAT thing online, and that word was in one of the answers for sentence completion with a vocab word. I take the SAT and ACT here in a few months and would like to brush up on vocab. After watching some Sci-Fi shows (mainly Sliders and Jake 2.0) I checked out- animosity, cumbersome, uncanny..just to name a few, and wow does it sure stick in memory. So if you have any other of these "big" words you use, I would like to hear what they are. Thanks.
I've been known to use the words "sat" and "act" once in a while.

I don't use it very often but it pops into my head a lot: sycophant. Sort of like "brown-noser" but with Latin roots. :p
Haha, yes I remember that one from a weekly vocab thing we did last year. But good one:)

Inspissate. Sated. Esoteric.
While polysyllabic words are entertaining, I do indeed try my best to eschew obfuscation...
