View Full Version : Cross carbon forks w canti-studs in 1" steerer size?
I'm using an older 1" headtube frame and would like to know what brands/models I can buy for carbon cx forks with canti bosses only. I need a full/uncut 300mm steerer... so buying used is pretty much out of the question. Any idea who might stock the carbon cross forks in 1" steerer size?

Wound Up or Alpha Q. (Ritchey -- to the best of my knowledge -- don't make a fork like this in one inch, which is too bad because their WCS forks are excellent and go for $300 to $360, new on Ebay and on sale.)
Those are the more expensive options. There are cheaper options. But I don't know anything about the quality of the cheaper ones.
Oh yeah, I think Easton. But again, you are looking at $400+. At least. (Personally I'm going with a steel fork from a high end manufacturer, but there are a bunch of reasons for that.)

Thanks for replying. I was aware of this one already, but I'd like to find a fork without the disc mount in addition to the canti bosses. That price is (was) certainly nice though.

What reasons, may I ask, are you going for steel instead of carbon? I've seen the Russian made Ti cx forks on eBay, but they are always in 1 1/8" steerer sizing. The only 1" steel cx forks that I've seen, on eBay look like garbage, in my opinion. Any quality threadless steel forks in 1" for a good price? I need a full 300mm steerer length, too.
