or versus the niterider classic plus.

Based on my reading of the light selection guide, the NR classic plus would give superior lighting compared to the dinotte ultra 5. But how would the niterider classic compare to the dinotte?

I am interested in being able to go 20mph on dimly lit pathways.

The Dinotte doesn't push as much lumens as the NR Classic Plus would. With LED in the dinotte, objects become muted, and there is less depth of field

I use a cree 135 lumens LED and it isn't all that good. It can see hazards on the road, but not if you are going 20mph.

32W of halogen would be great.

What light are you using? The lens makes a huge difference.

Keep in mind the Dinotte 5w is technicaly no more. It is the 200L. It is noticably brighter than the older 5W.

That being said, the NR Classic plus is a dual halogen light. It will be brighter than one 200L. I currently run 2-200L on my handlebars, and a Niterider Halogen headlamp (basically one bulb of the Classic plus).

I have hit a max of 43mph with this setup on unlit country roads and felt safe. I REALLY like the dual 200L's and they make my NR helmet light somewhat redundant. But I own it and do like having a light that follows my head so I still use it.

Is it possible to ride at 25 miles/hour on unlit country roads with one dinotte 200L ?

I ride that fast on unlit country roads with a dual 5w, if that helps.

From the 200L images in the link below, one light might be sufficient for speeds below 20 mph
