well, newbie to forum.
i been riding since i was 5, got my first mult speed bike in 8th grade-huffy. put 4 COMPLETE sets of bearings and at least 15,000 documented miles on it before getting a bridgestone MB4 that has over 50,000 documented miles on it. that took about 8 years till i got hit-didnt hurt bike but i didnt road ride at all for the next 4 yrs then got married and put the bikes completly away.
7 yrs later im back on the bike. this time on a 2000 mt800 cannondale tandem with road slicks.
got about 160 miles in the last month or so and 33 of that was yesterday. kicked my butt! lovin it and looking forward to the next 10,000... hope my body can keep up!
seeya out there and if you are ever in 'real' nor-cal look me up or PM me for a ride. Chico, CA

Welcome to Bike Forums ccpanel. I too was off a real bicycle for many years because of medical reasons. Bicycling is my best source of fun and exercise now.

Hello Mark, you really are in Northern California...did you know that once you leave the city limits of Sacramento there are no See's Candy shops until Chico? That's how we know that Chico is upwardly mobile :) .

hehehehe
