I see a lot of you guys referring to clipless and clipped pedals. Whats the differences between the two? Also could somebody post pictures of examples of different pedals?

Clipless have a cleat that is screwed on to the bottom of your shoe and actual clips into the pedal and you twist your foot to get out of it. Clipped pedals have toe straps that go around your shoe.

I don't want to be an ass, but there is a search box and you can goto any bike store web page and look up the difference, or goto google.

That reply was kinda pointless. The question was answered so there was no need for your reply.
A lot of forums disable search, I'm used to that. I tried looking it up on google but found nothing.

i think people get the terms mixed up a lot too ... cause a lot of people refer to clipless as riding "clips"
