Hello everyone,
I got into road biking just a couple months ago when i bought a cheap beginner schwinn prelude. It most likely isn't worthy of the road by many of your standards, :) but I enjoy it very much. I got into road bike just for enjoyment and to stay fit. I currently am just shy of 200 and would like to shed a few pounds. I typically get out 3-4 times a week and ride around 10 miles each time. In the flats, I am able to maintain 19-20 mph. This coming spring, I play on buying a giant tcr.
Here is my bike. I have tuned it, added a different saddle, a cateye speedometer and of course, removed the kick stand. :) The bike lock doesn't stay on for rides FYI. I am planning on getting clipless pedals and shoes soon.
