Foo - Put this guy in the Tour de France

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm sorry, but that dude must've been high.

What makes you think he could ride a bicycle even with two legs, let alone one?

Having only one of two of something helped someone else in the tour, so I say sign him.

Me thinks you didn't even read the article. The dude was on a motorcycle.

Me thinks you are more wrong then you thinks I am. I did read the article and he clearly was on a motorcycle. Hence, why would the OP think he would be any good at riding a bicycle? See, the "Tour de France" is a race for bicycles, not motorcycles.

Also, it's hard to ride in the Tour de France with one leg.

I am thinking it was posted as a joke. I wonder if his sense of humor got cut off with his leg. Mine didn't.

Quoted the wrong guy. Funny how you knew I was talking about you though.

I guess I made up the title as an excuse to post a funky article here.

Lighten up, Francis.

He can even save weight by not bothering with a saddle. :p

You just made the list, buddy. Also, I don't like no one touching my stuff. So just keep your meathooks off. If I catch any of you guys in my stuff... I'll cry [edited for content]

And I don't like nobody touching me. [ok, this part is clearly a lie.]

I'm sure it's been mentioned by now, but It's odd BF would let you pick your user name but then censor it when people try to quote you. It makes it look like a vulgar username. After I posted I saw the "*******" and thought: "wait, what did I just call him?!"

I wonder if he noticed because when he stopped he went to lean to that side?

"He felt excruciating pain, but did not notice that his right leg was missing until he stopped at the next junction, the paper quoted local police as saying."

if you feel excruciating pain anywhere on your body, don't you at least take a looksie?

I gotta rent that movie again. It's been too long since I saw it last :)

:D Yeah, I noticed the asterisks started showing up with the latest software upgrade a few weeks back, a little while after I registered, so I wonder if there were complaints about my user name or something. I've always kinda regretted choosing it but the 50 other usernames I tried first were all taken, so I guess I'm stuck with it. I'm always worrying that it offends people. :o

So he didn't have to shift it in the 1.2 miles without a leg? Trying to shift without a leg FTW.

"So I was having a beer and all of the sudden I went to tie my boot and ....... oops... where did my leg go???? "

Hard to believe.... I seen a Dr perform an amputation and its not that easy....
