when we choose a motor,should the motor voltage rating be equal to the max voltage rated by the battery... or should we choose a battery which is equal to the max voltage rated by the motor..

Neither of both. The reason is because motors are typically under rated. You should get as big a motor & batteries as you can afford to have the excitement and to feel scary at high speed. :P
im happy with a 24 volt motor and a 48 volt pack.
You also need to consider your controller. You may have 48 volt battery packs but if the controller can only handle 24 volts the only benefit you receive is that the batter will last longer than a 24 volt pack.
so consider that i have a 48 Volt, 1200 Watt, 3200 RPM, 32 Amp, permanent-magnet motor , so what do you people suggest about the motor..i stay in India and its difficult to find a person who suggest on these issues and its also difficult to find E-bikes also.. so i am really glad the u request to my Queries.i am also sorry if am silly in what I ask.Please help but.!
