Hi All,
I'm interested in getting a tour bike and one of the bikes I've been researching is the Trek 520. I took a look at the bike's specs on the Trek website and saw a picture of it (my LBS does not have a 520 in stock currently). I was wondering if any Trek 520 owners could tell me if the Trek 520 has shift lever bosses brazed on to the down tube like the Surly LHT frames do. In the picture on the Trek website, the 520 apears to have these bosses brazed on, but I can't tell for sure. I was wondering if the 520 could be used with old-fashined shift levers on the down tube.
Thanks in advance.
