Hi, I am looking to get a road bike, but I am not sure what size I would need. I am 5'3, so is there any easy way to determine the frame size I would need? Thanks!
I know you're only 15, so you might want to consider getting something you can grow into a bit. How tall are your parents? Do you think you're going to do much more growin?

Yeah I know I will be doing more growing soon. My brothers are both around 6 feet tall.
At 5'3", I really don't think you're going to be able to buy much over a 54cm/21" bike. That would normally fit someone up to ~5'7", so it may give you a little room to grow. If you want to figure out what would fit you now, then go to
: http://www.strawberrybicycle.com/frames-custom.htm#sizing
and follow the steps for the sizing method there, and calculate your current frame size. As this says, this is for a road racing size, and a general road or touring bike would be a little larger in the seattube, and have a shorter reach, although not necessarily a shorter top tube, maybe a shorter stem. This will give you something to start with at least. If all your questions aren't answered by this or future posts, just post again whatever your questions are. :)
