Yea. Back in the day I was a total hippy.

It got to the point people offered to drive me to a barber, and PAY for me to get it cut.

I got called skunk head(half of the hair was bleached, the rest was dirty blonde), mop top, and every variation of hippy under the sun.

I just flipped my hair out of my face, to see who was talkin' to me, and said "What-eva".

That was around the time "just before" Billy Ray Cyrus got popular. As soon as he became big, everybody accused me of trying to look like him. I was like "Pffffft....I had this before I knew who this achy breaky idiot" even was. But I cut it to stop the accusations.

Oh....I understand that. My work bans more sites than I care to think too. I get frustrated when people post youtube vids all day long and I can't see them because they are blocked by work.

I gotta dig around in my photo archives, but somewhere I (or maybe my parents) have some pictures of me from 1975 when I had huge, thick, wavy golden-brown hair down to my biceps. Nearly as wide as it was long. With a center part. Might've even been wearing a headband & Frye Boots, strumming a guitar. Oh yeah, I got yer hippy right here!

Back when I had hair, I couldn't really pull off the look. My hair is naturally curly and morphed into a frizzy fro when grown out. That of course didn't stop me from trying through most of high school. My annual pictures are the laugher now when we get together with old friends. My nickname was Horseshack from resemblence to the Welcome Back Kotter character. For you youngins that don't know who that is think Screech from Saved By the Bell.

I'm almost glad I'm going bald, much better look for me.

I'll dig around, in high school mine was almost down to my waist (think Conan the Barbarian). Also sported a ZZ-top beard. Good times.
