I picked up the beads at the lunch stop on the first day and thought the blue went nicely with our jerseys..and I gotta get some bling! ;)

That and I figured maybe some of the biker chicks would give me a little inspiration and provide some GGW (or more fittingly BCGW) "Mardi Gras" moments to lighten the afternoon stretch.. Unfortunately, no. :(

With it being so cold at the start and NeCrO not wearing a jacket everyone got to see his nips! lol! So it was easy for him to "earn" those beads! hahahaha!

I just got my NorCal bibs in the mail. They seem a bit short. Anyone else find that to be the case?
My mediums are good waist wise, but maybe the straps are short (which is odd because I'm only 5'7") and makes them ride to high.

I noticed the same too. They feel similar to the Assos, that are more confortable riding than walking.
Once you start riding with them you won't noticed any disconfort with the straps. I also got mediums and I'm also 5'7".

The other thing is I didn't get crazy about the chamois. It's ok, but my most confortable bibs so far are still the Louis Garneau. Personal choice, I guess.

I think I ordered mine too big (L) as it seemed to bunch up in places. I based it on my waste size at the time of the order. I guess I should've counted on shrinking a little bit. I'm getting medium next time.

I received my package yesterday too. Thanks Henry. I tried on the jersey and I thought it would be loose(L) but the fit seems to be right except for that bulge right below my rib area. I didn't try on the bibs yet. Will report and post pics soon.

If you ordered the race cut, they're tight in the sleeves by design. Mine are the same way...
