Hi all again, does anyone know where I can order a custom axle length for
a Quick Release skewer? This is for modifying the QR on a QR Rack built
for normal seatpost dia. Thx.

Biketoolsetc (http://www.biketoolsetc.com/index.cgi?id=148473533123&c=Repair-Parts&sc=Seatpost-Clamps&tc=Quick-Release) sells different sized quick-release seatpost clamps in 28.6, 31.8, or 34.9mm.
For a more specific custom size, you can probably cut down a front skewer and use a tap and die set to cut your own threads.

Thanks for the tip. "Use a tap and die set to cut your own thread.." hmm, I will need to learn how to do that.

Thank you. It'll probably be easier if I pay someone to do it, then again they'll probably ask
me how many cartons I want to fix.

oh have to see if I can get a tap to fit axles...I get broken stuff all the time...be handy if I could retap broken rear axles to use in front wheels.
