I've been living up in the 1000 Islands for almost 2 years now and have had a hard time find a good bike shop to service my bike and to buy accessories. Does anyone know of a good shop up this way? Most of the time I take my bike back down to Rochester NY to where is was bought.

That's a tough one. But learn to do wrenching yourself and you will be very glad you did. Compile a list of reliable online vendors with good prices (or even watch eBay) and you will not only have the satisfaction of fixing your own bike, but you will save a lot of money.

I'd love to learn wrenching, but I'm also the timid person that does not want to screw the bike up learning !
They need a class bike wrenching 101. I'd be the first in line

For starters have a look at some of the info here: http://www.parktool.com/repair/byregion.asp
(BTW, I'm worried about the Sabres without Briere and Drury.... )

Well we did not have Connolly for most of the season, so I think he can be a bandaid for Briere and Roy is ready to step up and take over for Drury.
I wish we would have upgraded our defense though :(
