I was planning on participating in a mile and 3/4 Lake Michigan swim this weekend. The distance is not a problem for me, but I discovered as I was swimming in the lake today that I get a bit sea sick in the lake when I'm swimming. The movement of the waves just bring me all kinds of indigestion. Can something be done about this? Or should I just forget this swim. The waves were not big this morning. I swam in the lake last week and the same thing happened, although today the sea sickness did not happen until the return part of the swim.
