Hey just relocated to the IOWA city area and it appears that, thanks to all the college kids, this town was made for cyclist. It seems that anywhere you want to go is available via a bike trail. Even when you want to go no where you can find plenty of off road and hidden little paths all over the place. Seems car / cyclist friendly and I have learned that in this area, its best to not stop your car in the crosswalk area because 9 out of ten times there is going to be a bike coming.
Anyway, give me a shout if your from the area and let me in on the secrets of club rides, great spots and so on.
