Ok, it seems I am on a ban theme but lets try this one.

If you were the supreme potentate of the entire universe, what sport would you ban and why would you ban it.

It doesn't have to be politically correct, just your opinion. I think Jsharr would choose Baseball. I think I would go with Ice Hockey, or maybe the real sport of Pro wrestling. :)

Naaaahhh, don't ban it. Just make the participants do their routines with 50 pound weights strapped to each appendage. Boy, would that make the TV ratings soar. Probably also cut down on the number of repeat champions.

Nascar is a joke. Originally it was a competition among manufacturers in that only cars avilable to the public are raced. Now every car is virtually the same and the ford vs chevy vs dodge vs toyota is a joke.

Actually, I never watched it till I started playing and these days I just forward 6 hours worth of action on my DVR to about 1/2 hour.. Golf commentators and coverage is usually pretty boring..

Can I ban baseball, but keep all the TV timeslots to air every college football game played? They can be taped and then rationed out over the non football season. Football every day is good. Baseball is bad, regardless of what Roberto Clemente says.

I just thought of my perfect sport ban. As I'm the owner of two rescued greyhounds who probably would have DIED (like thousands of others do every year) because the sport kicks them to the curb as soon as they are done.
