I'm planning on doing a ride up Haleakala in April 2008, between the 7th and 10th. Would anyone would like to join me? It would be a lot more fun with someone else then by myself.

:pHi Maybe you can come early and go with me and my friend....lol. We are doing the Maui Century this November (18th) and plan to ride up Haleakala. I am hoping to do well. I talked to a guy from the South Maui Bike shop today and He said it is about 5% to 6% grade with a 12% grade near the top but didn't know how long the 12% grade part was. AGGH that is a lot. The whole ride is approximately 36 miles.... I am training hard....:p
