I'm a HUGE fan of my Rob Roy. I have been using it as my FG roadie for the last few days and it rides great. It also surprised the hell out of me at my local CX course. Now, not to be a tool BUT my race rig is a Chorus/Record equipped Stealman, eurocross. So yeah, I have a pretty effing nice cross bike to use as a gauge.
My goal was to have the bike built in time to race SS cross in the fall, and it is. I'm all smiles.
BTW, I always get Tony when I call.

over on the other forum, someone mentioned that IRO no longer is selling the robroys, if that is true, it makes these group buy frames extra special...last of the bunch

I have a black RR in 58cm, but realized I don't need it as much as a (much shorter) friend of mine does. This is a long shot, but would anybody in NYC (or elsewhere, maybe?) be interested in trading this RR for a 52cm, any color?

Iro does still have the rob roy's http://shop.irocycle.com/shop/product.php?productid=16362
complete bikes for $599
So, months later, after all the drama...
There's no more Rob Roy on the IRO website.
dum dum dum...
aren't you all glad that you stuck it out and got the group buy frameset?
Did you actually take the time to look on the site before posting? Both the frame set and complete bike are currently for sale.

Yeah, they weren't listed for a while and then all off a sudden they were. Colors listed are green and orange, no matte black. I bet they are overstock from the group buy and maybe actually the last of the Rob Roys, as anticipated way back sometime while this was still in the works.
