Mountain Biking - New Mountain Bike Ideas

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Ok, I have been looking around now for a couple of months and have narrowed the list to these three bikes any comments? I go 230 with semi aggressive riding.
Gary Fisher HiFi
Specialized Stumpjumper FSR
Santa Cruz Blur or Nomad
Thanks
Mike
Of those three, I'd recommend the Transition Covert (http://www.transitionbikes.com/2007/Covert.cfm)

Wow. I went to the Transition site, I've never seem anything like that system that they had. Like the upgrades and the fork options individually. Wow....

Don't think I'd go the Blur route at 230. Maybe the Nomad. FSR & Hifi probably OK too. There may be rider weight limits so verify.
Why the Blur / Nomad but not the Heckler? Non-VPP suspension? FWIW I've been very happy with my Heckler.

I really like my 05 Stumpjumper FSR comp.........I'm 195 right now, but started riding it at 210, and it has held up great.

Out of those I would get the Nomad...but that's just me.
I currently have a Fisher hard tail and really like it vintage 95'. I rode a HiFi and it feels good and in 2008 the fork goes to Fox. BUT for some reason I cannot get excited about the Fisher and am leaning toward the Santa Cruz. The only problem is I know the Santa Cruz is overpriced if you look at the components you can get on the Fisher.
Any Advice?
Mike
