This is something we noticed on my buddy's bike yesterday. When u look strait at the front wheel, it is off centre with the fork by about 1/2 inch. Everythin gon the hub is secure, and loots ot be equal on both sides. What's wrong??

BTW, its a shimano QR hub.

Is the rim centered within the fork? Are you saying that the hub is not centered in relation to the rim.....as in not evenly dished? Is the hub a disc specific hub?

Sorry, i was in a hurry. It is a disk specific hub, i mean the hub& rim in relation to the fork is off centre, not the dish, the wheel is fine. I called him last night and said that the disk is still in the same place, so its almost like the other side is the only one that is messed.

A quick and easy way to see if there is a problem. Put a zip tie on the fork and cut it to length where is just barely hits the rim. Then take the wheel off, put it on backwards. If the wheel is properly dished, it should hit the rim in the same place. If there is a bigger gap, or the zip tie scrapes, then the rim is out of "Dish".
