Mountain Biking - IRC Mythos Slicks vs. Ritchey Speedmax

I'm looking for a semi slick that will last well on paved roads (I'm riding about 50/50 between the two). I found good deals on both the IRC Mythos Slicks and the Ritchey Speedmax. Which one will give me the most tread life and hold up the best? Thanks.

Speedmax is my pick ... The irc will not ride as smooth on the street.

I heard that the Ritchey has a softer rubber, thus wearing faster.

they all wear fast on the street. you may be right about the ritchey rubber.. I bought some z-max evolutions and the rubber feels softer than any of my other tires.. I ride them on the road some and they don't seem to be wearing more than usual.
