Alright so ill get to the point, i've been riding a dirt jumping bike for the last few years, 6 inch suspension, 8 inch disc break rotors etc. Now ive first of all come to outgrow my frame but ive also outgrown dirt jumping. This summer i have found myself doing more trail (even tho at times extremely ruff trails ) and i came to the point where i need some changes on my bike. I figured that maybe a frame change to something my size and more mountain bike ish would be my way to go for what i do now.
My problem is this, i took this suggestion to a bike store and got suggested to sell my bike and buy a new one. Well now they did have good arguments and all but i have a bike with very very nice components (its basicly custom after all these years) and im not sure if they are just trying to make me buy a bike...
Any suggestions or comments about all this? Both comments about what u think i should do, and what u think the store is doing to me are appreciated :)
Cheers
ps. even tho i would make a change i want to keep some components, for exemple only 8 gears etc.. yea.. help :)
