Goof ball was on ATV aka Quad and crashed into a wall. He is okay just a little sore and bruised, he says he want save himself for summer camp. Sunday he is going to summer camp for a week. It's going to be a LOOOOONG week, they do not allow incoming or outgoing calls.

Ahhhh....:o It's okay, John. He needs to have that experience. I loved summer camp as a kid! He'll come back all full of stories. :)

The road bike's in the shop (needs a new bottom bracket bearings). Time to dust off the mountain bike. So it's Saturday 8/18 8:00 am in the El Morro parking lot. Since I am close enough I might just ride to the park.

I am thinking about a Dana Point to Oceanside and back. I have only done one group ride in the last 3 years and normally ride alone but if anyone wants to go..... I don't have all day and need to be back by 11:00 so if anyone wants to go let me know. I won't know for certain that I am going until tomorrow at noon. One of the reasons for riding alone is my crazy unpredicable schedule.

what area were you thinking about riding in? I could be tempted to do something!

I know a great rolly/hilly route from Oceanside out to lake hodges and then back up the coast.
