Ok I need a favor if it's not too much to ask. I've been on the hunt for a racing bike and have had luck in the past but the deals were lost since I didn't have the money in time to cash in on them.

Ex: 16.8 lb Fuji Team w/full ultegra for just under $1000. Noooooot to shabby.

So basically I'm looking at $1100 as my budget and need a bike worthy of racing. Any deals out there I have missed? I seriously need to give up this 25 lb shimano sora bike I have now and get a real machine. Also, any deals on wheels since I plan on upgrading those as soon as money will be available.

Look into Felt Bicycles. You can get a full 105 grouppo with a Carbon fork mounted to an aluminum frame for under $1,000. The model is the F65, the next model up is the F45 and it's full Ultegra! Nice bikes, even nicer prices!
