I'm in the Non-Wheelchair category. Helmet mirrors are not required and with any luck the Maximum Freds will be shelled in the first 10 miles.
I would tell you where this event is, but of course if any of you showed up that would spoil my fun. I have a Secret Fred Strategy all cooked up for this. It may be pathetic, but there's a little Ryanf in all of us. The hamer will drope. Oh yes.

Will you be using clips and straps with running shoes and wearing underwear under you cycling shorts.? oh yeah dont forget the obligaitory faded and tattered cotton t-shirt from an event 10 years ago. extra points if its a long sleeve t-shirt.
My secret weapons: Dork straps and a Planet Bike Superflash ziptied to my helmet.
I dropped a fred today. He had a cane draped over his handlebars. Let me just say I hope all your freds are like this one.

Isn't that like a normal person competing in the Special Olympics?
Does this race allow Squirrels as well? Seems kind of unfair to leave out Fred's cousin's.
