Just for fun, according to your cycle computers what's the fastest you've gone on your mtb? I hit 31mph yesterday but I know that's weaksauce.

I've done 50 on my road bike. On my mountain bike i tend to spin out because of the low gearing. 44-11

like unassisted (flat terrain), or downhill. I think we'd get some crazy speeds downhill

With the help of some slicks and a nice paved road I managed to hit 55.1mph going down a big hill.

About 40 on a downhill course at Sun Peaks. Add the thrill that it's open range land and we had cows on the course in practice

I wouldn't say the are worthless, but I don't have one on my mountain bike. The only time it really mattered was in a long point to point race.

I think cyclocomputers are worthless and don't use them but I'm guessing that I once got up to 15-16.

I don't own one but one of the guys at SP actually did and he clocked 42 across the 'cow pasture' drop-away.

No cyclocomputer, no music from an Ipod, how do you ever tap into your inner strength?

Hey mtnbiker66...I like the new sig pics, but is that poop on your center lug?

I shipped my Super-V up to my parents house in WA a week before I flew there...UPS messed it up.

My Dad threw his Huffy MTB in the back of the Bronco and drove up to the top of a mountain. I rode the bike back down with him behind me. I was doing 55-60mph according to his speedometer with him 5 feet behind me.

It was so fun that it didn't even cross my mind that the crappy ol' Huffy wheels could have just fallen off, hehe.

when my friend and i thought it was cool to put computers on our 300$ zellers bikes (not actually from zellers, but same quality) i got up to 41.6 km/h on flats, and those bikes weigh a good 40 pounds. down a 'mountain' (more of a big hill lol) i did 70ish km/h. nothin special, but still fun. now i think ive done 50, i sometimes race cars in he 50 section and win so ya :P
