Just switched from the Ritchey Road Logics to the Look 3.1 and I am very pleased with them so far. Here is my short review, which I will eventually broaden and add to RoadBikeReview.com:

The Look pedals have a nice, large platform that is very comfortable. I have wide feet and these pedals seem to distribute the pressure over a larger area which has eliminated my toe numbness and "hot foot" discomfort on longer rides. The larger platforms also make climbing feel more solid.

The Look cleat design makes clipping in much easier for me than with the SPD design. The cleat snaps in robustly and stays put, even during serious climbing. Snapping out is just as easy; I have yet to get stuck in the pedals at a sudden stop. Another nice feature: Look pedals are weighted which makes clipping in much more intuitive - I don't have to look down to make sure the pedal is flipped in the right direction.

The Looks weigh more than the Ritcheys, but I am a big guy so I don't care that the Looks are a few grams heavier. I need to worry about losing 30 pounds off my own "frame" before concerning myself with shaving a few grams har und thar off my bike.

The Look 3.1 does not have adjustable float. This also is not a big issue for me since I don't have knee problems; the built-in 6 degrees of float is perfectly comfortable for me.

I'd like to qualify my review by stating that I have a total of 40 miles on the Look pedals. I'd like to give them some break-in time to see how they hold up over time. But as of today, I am already happier with the Look 3.1 than I was with my previous pedals.

I have the Look 5.1 which have the adjustable float. Very happy with the pedals, but haven't really taken advantage of the adjustable float feature.
