Here is the 2007 Jamis Eclipse build. Everything came off the Pedal Force RS except the front derailleur clamp on and the 2009 Veloce alloy levers. 17lbs. Will chop the fork in a month or so once I settle on the right amount of spacers. Rides like steel, climbs like carbon.

Very nice. Jamis makes nice bikes.

Nice looking ride Bostic. For the unitiated, can you tell us a little more about that frame?

From the Jensonusa website:

"The '07 Jamis Eclipse is a lightweight road bike that features a blend of carbon fiber and Reynolds 853 to save weight while helping to eliminate road vibrations giving you a smooth and responsive ride. In addition of a lightweight frame that combines Renyolds 853 and Carbon Fiber the Eclipse features a smooth shifting Shimano Ultegra Gruppo with Mavic Ksyrium Equippe wheels.

Carbon Fiber and Reynolds 853 frame, carbon fiber top tube, seat tube, chainstay, Reynolds 853 seamless air hardened down tube extended head tube with reinforced collars, heat treated cromo chainstays."

Pretty bike!

I have that same column, with a color divide on the bullnose, just different colors. Is yours a Hoffman home?

Thanks and no, it's a Morrison home. The paint job is ala me (note the extremely jagged lines :twitchy: ).

Just got this baby today after months of waiting to get some money for it. It's fully stock save for the 25mm gatorskins.

I want to try clipless (this is my first road style bike, grew up on mtn bikes) but I can't find any shoes that aren't completely hideous.

Good think I saw this, my roadie-elite side was about to have a field day :lol:There's a valve stem cap missing, the front brake is open, I forgot to take the tag off the saddle, and it's in first gear. There's plenty you could have nitpicked. :P

Nice bike!

I've ridden barely at all for a few months, so I'm probably going to need some time to rebuild some strength and endurance. Not that I could keep up before, but I really couldn't now. :P

How were you able to balance a can of Red Bull on your stem? :p

Ok, maybe I exaggerated a little bit...

Robert Conrad called and he wants his D-cell back after you took him up on the dare to knock it off. :p

Here's my bike.

I just got it back from the powdercoaters and assembled the bike yesterday.
It was originally an 09 matte grey windsor hour.

In person the frame is awesome; it looks great when the sun reflects off of it.
If any of you are looking to get your frame/fork powdercoated, give Maas Brothers in Livermore a call.

Wow, that is just beautiful. Looks quite rideable, too. I love the colors, both on the bike and on the wall. Are you some kind of artist or something? :) I'm guessing you are.

While I do tend to give a lot of thought to the aesthetics of things, I'd be the last person to call myself an artist. :) The paint on the walls was my mother's doing. When left to my own devices, I come up with color combinations like this (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b359/x136/misc-crap/desk-20060218.jpg). :P (Though I did design and help build the desk.)

Never had a chance to take any pics until this past weekend. Picked it up on CL back in November; my first road bike. Rode Saturday and came back on Sunday with the camera. :D

The spacers came with the bike and I'm still undecided on how much to chop off.

Just got a new wheelset today! DT Swiss 1450 Mon Chasseral. Much smoother ride than the Ksyrium SL's I had, and weigh the EXACT same. 16.64 lbs. with Ksyriums, 16.64 with the DT Swiss.
