OK, Siu Blue asked for a Guys of NorCal thread, but I figured we should be inclusive and include everyone. So, post a few pics.

How do you guys post such big photos with BF's 100kb limit?

Here's me at the Marin Metric.

Host it onto something like photobucket, click on the url, copy then post it here by clicking on the yellow box with the mountain and inserting it there.

I don't have many photos of me since I'm usually taking the pics.
Here's some I could find from hike up Half Dome.

Pre Hike Medication, just one shot :D

OMGosh blastradius!!!

We were supposed to hike half dome on our trip.

We got there so late, we didn't think we could get the hike in before dark. How long did it take you? Man I still want to do it. Was the line section really steep?

We went to a vista point and got some pics. But def, not like hiking it.

Great Half-Dome pics - here's mine:

http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/jonathanb715/yosemite.jpg

It took us close to 12 hours - we did this at the end of last September, and got a latish start - after 9:00. The last hour or so were in the dark - not fun. At least we thought ahead enough to bring flashlights.

Dang. Nioce.

Half dome must be a must do for cyclists. :p

Oh and. There are so many pictures of me on these forums. No reason to post more. Search my name, you can find some.

edit: 12 hours? Dang Jonathan. We left at 4am to get there and wouldn't have been able to start till 10-11am. Good thing we didn't try. We almost did. But a cute ranger girl advised us it was too late in the day to start.

Now there's an idea, a BF'er Half Dome trip.

We did the trip on Sept 18 so the day's were getting shorter. We hit the trail at 6:45 and were making our way up the back of Half Dome at about 11:45am. The hike back down was longer because we took the John Muir trail to avoid the steep stuff, but we still got down pretty fast.

Welll, some of us (that would be me) weren't exactly in tip-top condition at this time last year. We got to the top of Half Dome about 3:00, so we should have been ok, but on the way down I found out my hiking boots that seemed so comfy on 2 hour hikes weren't so comfy going down steep hills for several hours. I ended up loosing a toenail, and slowing everyone down.

Okay, I was going through some pictures from a recent trip, and found this one. I have some kind of growth coming out of my head.
