Can anyone tell me if the Cervelo P3 frameset is worth the extra £500 over an Orbea ordu.
Any comment would be greatly appreciated

Get fit to both. Pick the one that fits you better.

The P3 has a 78 degree forward, aggressive seat tube. The Orbea is more of a 75-76 degree, closer to a road bike. So they will fit different. Some schools of thought would say the Orbea is more of a Time Trial bike while the P3 is more of a triathlon bike. Ride em both if you can.

Fit is king, so get measured and see which works for you. Because of my inseam vs. reach, I would had to go with a 48 orbea so cervelo geometry worked better for me (I ended up with a 51).

One other minor point, even though the Orbea has curved seattube to wrap around the tire, the P3 has horizontal dropouts so you can dial in how close the tire gets to the frame.

LBS told me that Orbea had some changes coming soon to make them more aero (he mentioned one example being the headtube with some kind of X shaped cutout on it to direct airflow).

Has anyone wind-tested the new Ordu? I haven't seen any hard data on it yet.

It looks pretty sweet though.
