I enjoy meeting people on rides and, sometimes your blown away with who they are and the life they come from, or you have so much in common it's frightening. It usually happens on centuries where you have a lot of time to yak. It was really fun my first ride with BF'rs after following them online for a year and then meeting them, wow! I'd really like to find If some of us have crossed paths with people we've met. I'd really like to someday ride with them again. Sometimes you just don't think to get their Phone or email till its to late. Any anecdotes or stories/pictures to share? Maybe a missing friends thread.
My missing bike friend. I met Terry in 2005 Davis after lunch on her lightspeed, great personality, short very pretty went on and on about her lightspeed. Eventually separated at rest stop. I like to give people space and not make them feel like they're being stocked by a gnarly geezer. Next meeting, 2007 Davis (done backwards that year) got off my bike before top of ressurection to answer nature she drops her bike and says watch my bike! runs over to hill for a nature call and says hey I hope I don't fall of the cliff! Let me jump to end here. I had the worst ride won't explain too long, but she totaly got me through, I almost dropped out she kept saying come on come on with a big smile...I made it thru my 5th Davis. I had a great conversation the whole way. - She is from LA a regular century and double rider Northern and Southern Cal
Hey Ron maybe you know her - Terry Boykins is her name...anyone?
