Where can I buy melt it in the double boiler chain wax? I've just finished an exhausting four minute internet search and came up with nothing?

um, "wax" lube is probably referring to something like white lighting which is parifin based, but no melting required as the solvents in it allow it to flow onto the chain.

i dont know of any brand of lube you have to melt. however, my buddy actually melted some candles in a pot and then dipped his chain in it. i think its a little crazy, but he claims it works.

Ive heard of people melting regular paraffin wax and then putting a chain in... but I'd say fergit it and use tenacious instead.

you want regular old parrafin wax (or beeswax if you can get cheap) and a small bottle of teflon additive (slick 50 etc ).

I use a cheap crockpot for melting wax. It's about 75% wax, 25% chainsaw oil.
