Next week I will be attending a meeting for several days at the Clarion Hotel on Airport Way adjacent to I-205. I will be staying at a home near where I-5 and I-205 join. I want to commute by bicycle. I downloaded the PDF bicycle route map from the City of Vancouver. My plan is to come down Hwy. 99 in the bike lane to about 49th and pick up the bicycle path along Burnt Bridge Creek as far as Burton. Then I will follow various surface streets down to the on ramp for the I-205 bike lanes across the Columbia River.
Is it easy to find the entrance to the Burnt Bridge Creek bicycle path from Hwy. 99? How is it marked or what is a good recognition point? When I come off of the I-205 bike lane it appears I may have to ride up to Marine Way and work my way back to Airport Way. (We were in Portland this last week and drove past the Clarion. I could see the bike path, but it looked like you cannot get off of the bike path at Airport Way.)
Thanks.
