Upcoming century rides

I've been looking for a good century to try over the Labor day weekend. I have found the flat century ride near Clarksville, TN. Can anybody give me any others that you me be aware? I am mainly interested in TN, GA, NC, SC, VA, and WV. Thanks.

Tour de Moore is a Century out of Southern Pines/Pinehurst and is on Labor Day. Lots of good rolling hills and usually a pretty decent turnout. Hang with the front group and finish under 5 hours. I have seen it get a little warm......

I doubt you want to go this far south but Sebring, Florida has the Bok Tower Century on Sunday, they have a full three days of cycling events going on for the holiday.

Sept 1 - MACC One Love Century, and Sept 3, Share the Road - both in Atlanta, both good rides.

I'm doing the MACC One Love, mostly because it partly benefits the East Atlanta Kid's Club, which does really good work in southeast Atlanta. It'll mean I'll be putting my poor aging body through centuries at two week intervals (I just did the Spinning Through Time) but I've heard the MACC organizes really good routes.

I did this ride last year (edit: MACC One Love). Great route, even better support! It was the first year for them, and it was an excellent event. Amazing food at the end (jamacian patties and watermelon - awesome!) and such a great group. It was number 1 on my list of 'must-do' rides, but it looks like I have to work that day. I'm bummed - I was really loooking forward to this one!

Uh-oh -- I just heard that the sponsor has backed out of the Share the Road century, so it's cancelled. They're doing an unofficial, unsupported ride, but no sags, no rest stops. RonH, any idea what happened?

The GA Rails Into Trails Society is having a Labor Day ride on Sept 3rd starting in Rockmart, GA. The Century option is part RTT, part road. I think they have info on www.trailexpress.com (http://www.trailexpress.com) .
