Anyone know any bike shops or sporting good stores that carry a good selection of bibs? Preferably Castelli and Assos. San Jose-Sunnyvale-Palo Alto area preferred.

Thanks.

I've never been to Velotech but it looks like an interesting shop. I'll check them out this week - thanks.

Try Descente Bibs instead. I think they're as good as Assos.

Yeah, this is what I'm also leaning towards. I have a pair of Castellis, Assos and Descente and the Assos are the most comfortable, especially for long rides. I just with they weren't so expensive.

Have you ever tried PI's ultrasensor bibs? I found those to be pretty comfortable but I wonder if the Assos are more comfy yet.

I have some PI shorts that are a few years old. I did like them a lot and they were very functional, but ever since I started wearing Assos & Castellis, I haven't gone back to them. The chamois just feels softer and more comfortable in my newer bibs. Plus the smaller euro sizing also fits me better.
