Anyone come up to ride from Mountain Green today? You might have seen me riding up Weber Canyon from South Ogden, or back down later. I rode up to a friend's house in Morgan and had to battle some pretty good winds for most of the 45 miles. It was work to ride *down* I-84/Weber Canyon on the way home.
Cheers,

No. I haven't ridden yet today, but yesterday was horrible. I was going up Big Cottonwood, and thought I should give up and turn around. I'm glad I did, too. The gusts were knocking me around, when I descended. I would go around a turn, and wham, the crosswind would almost knock me over. No fun, and more than a little scary. Today, if it's anything like that, I think I'll stay in the valley.
I have the worst luck with Weber Canyon. Whenever I go up it, the wind blows down, whenever I go down, it blows up. I'm looking forward to getting a tail wind one of these days coming down so I can coast at 50 mph all the way back to 89. :)
