Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Anyone rocking trekking/butterfly bars?

I bought some nashbar trekking bars during one of their sales recently (because I'm addicted to weird looking handlebars), and I had the moustache bars off of my IRO last night for some modifications, so I popped the trekking bars on for a quick tryout. Outside of being the dorkiest looking bars I've ever seen (which fits my style just fine I guess), they felt pretty comfy - gave a lot of good hand positions. Anyone roll with this style of handlebar and care to share an opinion and/or pics?

People either love or hate them, though the love increases among those that bother to dial in their stem length and angle (higher and shorter is usually the ticket). The Nashbar ones are steel , which is heavy but probably necessary given how wide they are. Nitto does an Al set that are pretty good and a little narrower (51cm I think), and Soma of course has a Nitto ripoff, because that's what Soma does.

Those in Landgolier's picture look like moustache bars; here's a picture of the Nashbar trekking bars I put on my Nishiki; the current setup has a different stem, but the basic position is the same.

Trekking bars are very comfortable and provide more riding positions than the regular straight bars. For more information and pictures try putting "trekking bars" into the search function.

Wow, I'm a dumbass, clearly not enough coffee yet. Indeed, OP is talking about butterfly bars. The shorten and raise your stem thing goes double for them, unless you had risers in the first place.
