Just out of curiosity, what does everyone enjoy eating the day before the ride? Also, what do you have when you get up? Favorite breakfast meals before a ride?

In the morning, I usually either have a bagel and coffee or oatmeal. The night before, baked zita or rigatoni.

Macaroni and Cheese, or Mac and cheese for adults.... fetuccini alfredo. Or a nice deep dish pizza.

Morning always includes 2 bagels. One with breakfast, and one on the way to the ride, or at the start while gearing up/waiting.

Lately for me, Strawberry Yogurt Burst Cheerios with Vanilla Soy Milk.
Don't want to chance an upset stomach.

My usual is oatmeal with soymilk and fruit.

chicken, rice and bean burrito.

For the morning, a smoothie (kefir, a banana, some berries, some ground flax meal, some protein powder and some green stuff (http://www.gardenoflifeusa.com/detail_perfect.shtml). I also have a bagel with cream cheese, since the smoothie leaves me hungry an hour later.
