Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Anyone have the 49cm Windsor Hour?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I need to know the top tube and crank length. Much appreciated.

Or the same size Fuji Track for that matter. Same bike.

TT is 51.4 cm

Is that off of the site? I was looking for a real-world measurement, as BikesDirect is not clear whether the 49cm size is C-C or C-top of seat tube. Thanks though.

Well... moving on—I'm looking for a track bike with 49cm or shorter top tube for my girl. Specifically, on the cheap. The Windsor is cutting it real tight, but the value-for-money might make it worth it. This bike is really just for early base miles, for her to work on her spin. She's not interested in track.

Anyone have other suggestions? The tiny IRO caught my eye but the 650 wheels were a turnoff. Also, it's twice the price.

Did you check the Fuji site? I'm sure they have all the measurements and what system they used.

Fuji measures seattubes all the way up to the collar, like trek.
i'd imagine that the windsor would be the same.

Fuji also makes a 43cm (?) 650c-wheeled track. That's another option I guess if you get past the 650's

Other than that I think you'll have a hard time finding anything fixed or not with a <50cm TT.
I went through this search a couple months ago looking for something for my tiny girlfriend.

baxtefer,
What did you end up getting for your lady? I'm in the same situation right now. My wife is about 5' and I can't find a 700c track bike that I think would fit her :|

I just dawned on me that she doesn't have to reach as far as her hoods, so it doesn't have to be as small a size as her road bikes. hmmm...

The slate Hour isn't so bad looking.
