*Gasp*!
My husband would be all over that if you could make that ferrous metal so that he could scrape and make sparks, please :D .

I've thought of making some sort of either pneumatic or spring powered jumping bike made from a full suspension bike.

i thought of it but the amount on nitrogen and hardware needed will be rather expensive

I've seen it done with some lowrider trike bikes and thought it was kinda cool.

I think it's titanium that makes sparks when scraped on pavement, but I don't know if bicycling speeds are fast enough to make it work.

the high end lowrider showbikes have been using hydraulic kits for years now, ive seen pics and vids of bike "hopping" contests and some of those guys can get the whole bike off the ground, its remote controlled of course and there is no rider on em, but its freakin sssuuuuhhhwwwweeeeet!

But there's no real scraping. Mr. East Hill wants real sparks (it has to do with memories of dragging a metal chimney flue under a truck chassis for a couple of miles).
So, that is dumb.

Steel is great for making sparks. Some of my motorcycling friends would wear steel taps on their shoes just to make sparks as they rode down the road.

nobody rides them especially with the big ass equipment needed to power them only bikes using pneumatics are capable of being ridden. true in point but none can be ridden

I'd imagine that it has a trike kit on it.
