Good source for trailer wheels, hubs, axles?

I'd like to build a trailer. Where can I get good quality wheels or hubs, or even just axles that would allow me to use a standard Shimano front hub, but only mounted on one side?

I'm also considering using some beefy 20mm bolts and using mountain bike front hubs that use 20mm axles. That'd be STRONG.

If you mean, this design would be easier than finding one-side mounted hubs, I agree. But actually building a trailer for one-sided hubs would be easier still. I've been looking for one-sided hubs or axles too, and I've found very little. Phil Wood makes very nice wheelchair hubs... $igh...

Otherwise the only option would seem to be to scavenge the hubs off a jogging stroller, which of course would be of considerably lower quality than what BIG-E's looking for.

yea the jogging stroller came to mind but i also thought they wouldnt be good enuff........you might find used wheelchairs at a goodwill or salvation army........most of the ones ive seen have a mag type wheel............figure they hold a person up to ???.................200 to 300 lbs??

I just realized that www.bikepartsusa.com sells wheel, hubs, axles, etc. for adult trikes and carts, which may work for trailer builders. Search using the term "trike" or "cart" and you'll find some interesting stuff. Judging by the low prices, these are not particularly high quality items. The website doesn't give much detail on any of it, but maybe you can give them a call....
