with a co-op called I believe the Ya Ya club, or something with Ya or Yada ( Seinfeld :p ), that bike shops have access to when purchasing a new bike?

They have the gold card, which anyone who purchases a new bike gets period. One flat repair free, 30 day tuneup, 6 mth bike registration, and a couple of other things.

The platinum card has all that & more. The reason I bring this up, is because, I have threads that suggest when buying a new bike a lot of LBS will give you discounts on upgrades & accessories at this time. This is what brought all this about. It also includes for an extra $75 you get what is above plus 10 yrs on bike registry($10), floor pump/ulock $35, 2 yrs on flat repair, and a 10% discount on all other accessories at the time of purchase. So in essence you are really paying $30 extra, that is if you need a pump or lock, which I need a new pump, and I guess it isn't a bad idea to register the bike.

How do yall feel about this program?

Where do I find out if my LBS honors it and where do I sign up?
