Eastern Canada - Cycling partner is Toronto

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Looking for cycling partner for once or twice a week. Likely about 50 to 60km rides. Moderate paced (I'm not a racer). I'm in my mid 50s and am looking for someone to cycle with on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a couple of hours.

What area of the City are you in. There are many clubs that may be able to accommodate you.

Send me a pm. I might be interested, if we can get our schedules lined up properly, specially if it works for this weekend.

I'm up in Vaughan if anyone's interested- but on weekends, why don't you guys just do the Donut Ride? Goes up from Eglinton/Laird to Yonge/King Rd., and then they usually go back down Bayview, Leslie, etc. It's pretty fast though- average speed is into the high 30's.

The OP wants something at a moderate pace. Unless he's a retired pro the donut ride is not a moderate paced ride.

Well, I'm free on weekday mornings and weekends, if anyone's up here.
thanks, you're right. I'm talking about riding at a reasonable pace (i'm not a slouch) but I am not into 'racing' around a ride.
And I live in the Annex (Bathurst/Bloor area). I don't have to start from there but I usually do.

I ride most evenings 50-60km. Weekends also work for me although if I can I like to leave the city and go for about 100km or so but still ride in the city if traffic is bad.
I live at Front/Spadina.
I'm going to ride tomorrow AM at around 6am if anyone is game.
Jaret.

hmmm...everyone is close to my office, King & Bathurst, sadly I only commute (50km/day) in the city...but ride around the Collingwood area on the weekends, lots of road and have +50km of XC trails 5 minutes from the back door
