Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just got the all clear to resume all activity again. Broke my wrist on june 9th, had surgery on the 14th and had been stuck inside on the trainer up until last friday. Now Im free to go out and resume racing!

Just don't crash ;)
One of our local Cat 1s came back from a broken wrist last month, and he's been dishing out pain at the Tuesday Nighter. First week back he broke away on the first hill and stayed away. I think he was hungry...

i dont care if i crash again as long as i dont get as seriously hurt again. I think I will be racing a lot differently now too. So hopefully I will be going off the front more often.

yeah. I've tried to hang in his breaks a couple times, and I'm only getting about 3 minutes before I completely cave. Both times I mis-timed his attack and had to bridge up to him -- not a good way to start
