That looks like a realy nice ride. I'm so out of shape right now, I'd have to ride the "Little Buffalo"...all though that ride with my son would be nice.

I hope to do it. My funds are a tad tight right now. Is the century $85?

Yes. I think $45 of that goes to CU Liberal Arts? Dept.
Looks like I will be doing this ride after all. Got a friend that really wants me to go. See you at the start!

Hmm, mayhaps. My housemate tries yearly to talk me into riding it even though he does not anymore. Sounds like fun but I HATE paying to ride. I'm not a cheapskate but I do have trouble coughing up close to $100 for something I do daily for "free." Of course the event does have value and it is charitable. Two buddys are riding this year and may cause me to loosen my purse strings. We'll see...
Someone do the century with me.....my friend doesn't wanna do it. The hundred that is. :(

Does anyone have any information on the rider who was injured just before the 50 mile point?
I had a cold fast flat ride with a Title-9 homegirl, called pwnt a couple times but didn't see him on the road. We started/finished at my house and cut a little off at the end (no psych to continue after seeing that poor guy lying in the road covered in blood, so only got 90 miles.
I did not do the ride. I was screwed out of the ride with valygrl because I agreed to ride with my friends. We had all agreed to do the 50 and start at 7am. When I called this morning to confirm plans they had changed it to meeting at 9 and start the ride. That didn't work for me since I had agreed to take the wife to the airport at 1pm. Because again, I thought I was riding the 50 miles starting at 7am, putting me home in plenty of time to do so.
So ride for the Kevster. :( But I did save 95 bucks! w00t!
Sorry for not calling you back Valy. I'm a $h!t :(

Naw, Your *buddies* are the sh!ts. Talking you into it, then talking you into the short version, agreeing on a time.. then changing it on the morning-of. Lucky you didn't pay in advance. And good-on-ya for not passing the BS on to your wife.

Egads!
Sounds like a good one for me to miss. At least it was not latter in the day. My ride at 2pm was horrifically windy and started to get a bit cold.
...either that or I always need to ride with pwnt. :)
Problem is you never ride with me. You just drop me and wait at the next aid station. Not NICE, not nice at all. <sadface> :(

Sorry I missed this before the ride. I would've ridden with you pwnt. Last week was pretty crazy. Might've held you up though, my legs just weren't there yesterday. I haven't ridden much in the last month and it showed.

<--Wonders if he sounded like a di#k.
Anyhow, I swear I will work on that next time. Bill should be applauded for doing this exact same thing....not dropping his ride partners I mean.
