First and foremost, if this isn't the right board for this, which would be?
Anyway, since last year, I've owned a pretty nice (gym-quality) recumbent stationary bike. It's a Schwinn 227p with 6 different kinds of programs and 16 levels of difficulty. It has worked just fine for me, but recently (about 2 or 3 rides ago) it got stuck in one of the higher levels... and it won't come down! The programs keep acting like the levels shift... but the reality of the situation is very different. I usually go for 40 minutes straight at a time... and 40 minutes of high level --start to finish-- is very, very wearying... and usually dissuades me from going for another 40.
Has anyone any experience in fixing stationary bikes? I'd jump right into it without hesitation, but the guts of the bike are all encased in a sturdy plastic shell with no visible screws or bolts...
